Born on the same earth

There is only one giant red sun

For you, for me for everyone.

Black brown pink, yellow and white,

But a compromise will never be right.

We were all born under the same moon

But why make an enemy out of me this soon?

And all the mothers that have given birth

To monsters living on this earth.

As we look up to the stars,

Our brothers might as well have come from Mars

And as our eyes wonder across the clouds

We wonder who’s the killer in the crowd.

As we look up to the sky

I put it to you and ask you why

Hold a gun to my head to kill or maim

Just because I don’t look the same.
